Amazing? How many championships has been part of in his illustrious career? Who has he been replaced by at every stop?

The weight on any #1 pick is enormous and crushing. They will need much more around them and be among the best in NFL history than a QB who has never been able to make success happen. There is a reason top 5 QBs continually struggle and fail at a predictable rate and in a predictable fashion.

+ 1st in Accurate Pass % +

3rd in depth-adjusted Cmp%

+ 6th in PFF Pass Grade All while throwing to a bottom-7 receiving corps

Of all the Vet QBs the Panthers could've gone after,  *THIS* guy (who played as bad, if not worse, than Sam did in the last game) is who the Panthers select to be the "bridge"?

I think they both got the same guarantees also close to the other backup contracts signed everywhere......feels like the same agent on all of them...

Did I say sam had an ego? Reading comprehension, bro. The good teammate and ego references were made because dalton is coming to a situation much like Chicago two years ago where he knows we are drafting a QB with our first pick and he’s not necessarily “the man” on our team. But he will still prepare and play like a pro but will do what’s best for the team. And yes, he’s better than Sam.

You put "he doesn't have an ego and is a good teammate" followed by "he's an upgrade over Sam" which looks like you're implying "he does not have an ego...unlike Sam" and "He's a good teammate....unlike Sam".

My reading comprehension is just fine, "bro". 

It's the way you presented your statement that needed clarification.

 

Anyway, I agree with you on Dalton. 

That said, Panthers could've done a bit better than him but I'm not Reich or anyone else that knows more football than me.

Not a fan but defer to the ex pro QB that is running the team. He should know what he is looking at, and knows what he needs.
