Most honest CJ Stroud film analysis!!

I have watched a lot of videos analysis on CJ Stroud & this is the most honest & accurate I’ve seen so far.

I agree with that. When everything is clean around him, he is so accurate that he will dice u up. But, outside of GA, the minute there is a little pressure (not even a lot) he is below average.

We need to get Bryce young. Pj and Sam could both make every throw this guy can but have the same problem. Young does not

Players like CJ/CARR/GOFF/COUSINS are frustrating.

they have the tangible that most ppl can see (accuracy) & decent mobility.

but when it comes down to it, they are only as good as the ppl around them.

they do just enough to be paid top 10 money but play like top 20 depending on their cast.

problem is after paying them, u can’t put a good cast together, so mediocrity soon follow.

that to me is GOFF/CARR/COUSINS like…

He is way more athletic than those guys and has shown at times playmaking ability when the pocket collapses (outside of the Georgia game)

Stroud is also way more willing to throw it downfield than any of those guys

I one hundred percent disagree that CJ is more athletic than CARR/COUSINS/GOFF.

there is a reason he declined running at the combine.

Honestly I just love how calm his feet are  at all times. Never looks antsy or skiddish.

In that Georgia game alone CJ showed more playmaking ability with his athleticism than those 3 guys ever have

Well the good news is, he's 21 years old and these issues are coachable. 

This guy sounds incredibly football savvy and has tools to break down film well. I did some quick research and he's certainly no authority on NFL QB's. So I wouldn't take what he says as the gospel, and if you did Josh Allen would have been undrafted.

U keep saying Goff but Goff was one of the best passers in the NFL last year. Goff has also made it to a Super Bowl.

Why tf wouldn't we take a guy because "He's like Goff"
