If I recall correctly, we had an offseason under Hurney where we signed one guy.

And there was the time we had about $70m and he overpaid players on the current roster that went 4-12 the previous year--I think it was DWill's second contract, Charles Johnson, etc. I want to say it was just before we drafted Cam.

Or the time we had three kickers on the roster -three. 1,2,3. Three kickers. and instead of keeping the youngest, cheapest and best kicker on the roster, he picked the most expensive.

Our 4-12 season was 4 years before Hurney became GM

It might have been 2-14. I was going from memory.  Don't have time to get sidetracked by something that doesnt matter- I did mention DWill's contract renewal, so you can do the math.
