There seems to be a sizable portion of the fanbase that thinks size trumps skill and talent

They remind me of a guy that used to run a successful but niche business. Who was that guy? hmmm GIF

Oh yeah! It's this guy

He always loved size more than talent. That's why he tried making guys like this Ultimate Warrior Wwe GIF and this 200.gif his stars over guys like this wrestlemania viii wrestling GIF by WWE and this Ringmaster-And-Ted-DiBiase-Cropped.jpg before, like certain former Panther coaches, he was forced to play younger talent. It also helped that one of those younger, smaller guys Steve Austin Wrestling GIF by WWE became the biggest star his niche business ever had.

TLDR: Talent matters more than size

The best ability is availability. Can Young stand up to NFL physicality? That aside, prowess in college doesn’t necessarily equate to the same in the NFL. I don’t know who will be better but Young’s size concerns me.

Yep, it’s not size it’s lack of durability due to being undersized.

Its a legit concern.

    • I hope he does well for the team's sake, but he's never going to go down as one of the greats or a monster legend. There's not a thing in him that screams "keep pounding". More like "keep slapping". He just doesn't inspire. he's not capable of it.
    • Second week in our row our defense had stretches of looking like an actual defense. And the turnovers, those were impressive. Tipped pass INT, juggling a slightly behind throw INT and then a peanut punch fumble that decided the game.  - Chuba, obviously.  - Numbers aren't explosive in the slightest but Bryce did have some good throws, avoided any major mistakes and some of his bad habits like scrambling out of the pocket prematurely and taking unnecessary sacks were not really there. Going back to Dalton feels more like a sideways move now, especially how awful Dalton fell off.  - Legette and Coker co-leaders iin receptions. They both did have a bad drop but then again, they are both rookies. Even if BY doesn't work out, these kids aren't going anywhere for a while. - Eddy P didn't Gano the game-winner.
