IF the Panthers lose out on a top 3 pick, I can see them signing Jimmy G, then entertaining their own trade down scenario in hopes of maybe picking up a first rounder for the QB derby next year.

Something interesting i have read is that Stroud and Watson have the same agent and the texans might not be interested in dealing with him again after the watson fiasco. Young could be there first choice and be influential in them trading up.

if we want either of Levis or Stroud, i don’t see why we move any further up than 3. they won’t go 1-2.

Panthers may want to get Young, though. Likely have to get to 1 for that.

Not as annoyed as Bears fans after trading up TWICE in the last few years for qbs only to still be the worst team in the league.

That's the problem we worried about other teams.

 

Just trade those picks and get your QB. Whatever it takes to get to #1 do it.

 

If the guy we draft is a bust so be it. By that time we will have control of our 1st round pick again.

He will sign with someone if he's asking for less than Daniel Jones received. I'm still trying to figure out how the Panthers make it work and fill out the rest of their shopping list. I seriously doubt Jimmy G would want to play for the Panthers unless they overpay him.

If we like three QBs then it's blind luck whether we pick one that succeeds.

How often do multiple QBs from the same Draft go on to have stellar careers?

I'm simply not ok with trading up, the juice isn't worth the squeeze, but if they do they'd better be going after THEIR guy with conviction - not just putting themselves in striking range of multiple guys they like.
