The interception was dumb and the one ball in the redzone sideline pass was too high/wide, otherwise looks like mostly drops by the WR's. This would be a good game for almost everyone we've had at QB in the last 4-5 years

It's not really a bad game, but it's how he handles pressure in it. I'm really big on quarterbacks being comfortable standing tall, taking the hit to make a throw, or being able to calmly climb the pocket. This game he looked shaky at times, but overall it's not a 'bad' game.

Maybe the last Panthers' Super Bowl is seared into my brain, the last Panthers' decade really, but I want to make sure if we trade up for a quarterback that they are completely comfortable with heavy pressure. Right now we have a good offensive line, but what happens when we don't?

The Peach Bowl game tape is my xanax right now.

I think I've stated often how poorly I've rated Levis when it comes to movement in the pocket, vision, ect. I have him rated as the fourth quarterback.

I just found a new one for you, I've been waiting for more Hendon Hooker breakdowns.

If we cant make the trade for #1 and only #1. I would rather take a chance with him with our late 2nd than Levis or AR at #9 or even a trade up for either of them. Obviously we would have to sign a veteran FA QB. Maybe trade for Mills from Houston. Use #9 for a WR, TE, or Edge.

No complaints here if we land Stroud but if we're going all in for the #1 I want Young. Everyone is letting his size overshadow the fact that the kid's game is as surefire as it gets. He will be great if he can stay healthy and there's little doubt about that.

I do think CJ has the potential to be great but if you're going to eat the cost of trading up to #1 it should be for the sort of rare talent that only comes around once a blue moon and that's Young. He will be Drew Brees if he holds up and that's worth betting the farm on.

Or he’ll be Pat White.

    • They reached for Pickett, so they are not immune to it.  I could see that as well.  I just think the Colts are flying under the radar and they have been too quiet concerning their QB situation--of course, they could think Jones is their guy (they had a good one named Jones a long time ago) but I think they are done with the Richardson experiment.   Even if I believed in Jones, I would still draft a QB--I also read one mock that said the Jets would take Sanders if he falls to 7---I disagree, but I was once wrong and it still bothers me.
    • I just switched to prime video with fanduel south. Will I be able to watch the Canes playoff games still?
    • I mean, you can use that "logic," but the problem is that most practice squad players, backups or average guys don't put the play on film that Wharton did when given their opportunities.  Perhaps you'll end up right, but I don't think that just because a guy has been in a rotation makes him inherently less productive because he gets more snaps. I will say that the KC fans I've seen on social media loved him, and considered him their second best DT,  regardless of his "rotational" status, and generally considered him a dawg, so I'm going to give him the benefit of doubt until he shows otherwise.
