His first year is the most money, they could still draft a qb at 5 and have him sit a year.

They are still the perfect place for Anthony Richardson IMO. Doesn't mean they would select him, but they wont be in the top 5 again for a while. 

That being said, if we cant get to number 1, number 5 would do nicely.

This. We signed Teddy to a three year deal and he was cut after one season.

The structure will tell you everything. This could very well be a "bridge" deal.
