I like your conviction man.  Personally I am not giving 3 firsts for any 1 guy unless it’s a Manning

That's my attitude towards giving up that much. But I only get to watch and it doesn't cost me anything but my time. At this point in my life I really just want them to win. I really do not care how they do it or who they do it with.  Just win baby.

I think that’s where everyone is at. We have been around far too long to never have back to back winning seasons. It’s like we are cursed. Time to swing for the fences.

lol people act like trading firsts away will put us in some kind of five win per season purgatory and somehow just overlook past the past five years

I feel you but we’ve played it too safe for too long. Time to swing for the fences.

Maybe…maybe not.  I seriously don’t have that kind of conviction for CJ Stroud.  Especially over a Levis.  I would save the assets and develop Levis personally

Let's be real. If we swing for the fences what's the worst that can happen? We suck and lose games? If we don't what's the worst that can happen? We suck and lose games?

Anyone still left in Pantherdom is clearly no fairweather fan and can take losing.

We'll be fine one way or the other. At least we didn't trade the franchise for a serial rapist or hire the architect of Bountygate. I can take losing. I can't take that poo.

lol at the people thinking one 2-4 first draft won’t put us in some kind of 5 win per season purgatory. The reason it garners attention is it’s a gamble. Could go great, could suck. People are more interested in their current feels than the long road ahead of this team. That’s just how it is. Flip a coin.

This would be foolish in my opinion. This team needs a lot. They are NOT a QB away. This draft would allow the team to easily come away with upgraded starters at (at least) 3 of the following: WR, TE, LB or Edge. If a QB you love falls to you at #9, then take him. Play the hand you're dealt. And another thing... y'all killing me with this "next year's first is only worth a second" crap. This team literally tried to trade Cam Newton for Jimmy Clausen in 2010. You don't trade away first rounders unless your team is set. Otherwise you could be trading a top 10 pick next year.

It doesn't matter what any of us think is going to work.  The only thing you can control is how you choose to let it effect you. Whatever they do it either works or it doesn't.  As far as I'm concerned I hope it does because I'm tired of watching bad football from our team. I've learned to laugh at it but I'm to the point of crying so I'm hoping for the best.

The worst that could happen is we suck bad enough for the Bears to have the 1st overall pick next year and we still don't have a qb.

Everyone is incredibly excited about this team because of the coaching staff.  This team has holes but a real vision for the future.  QB is the answer or curse for the Panthers.  I personally believe in Fitty and the coaches to get this as close to right as possible.  The division is right there for the taking

Did anyone ever think the bears are getting us down in a bid war? Wash your hands and stay put.

The Panthers would be wise to hold out for a bit to see who's in on the war before i started bidding.  I'm sure they've set an offer on the table already.  I would let FA play out before I made any other offer.  The Bears are in a rush to make a deal as it's to their advantage. It's to our advantage to make them sweat a bit because they already know that the Panthers will have the best offer. Let them bring a better offer forward after we know who is actually in play and not speculated to be interested.
