RIP: David Lindley and Gary Rossington

David Lindley, musician and writer worked with everyone from Jackson Browne to the Eagles, Linda Ronstadt, Ry Cooder, Bonnie Raitt, Warren Zevon... and the list goes on. Probably best known for his radio hit back in the mid 70's "Mercury Blues." He was 79.

Gary Rossington, last survivor of the plane crash and longest tenured member of Lynyrd Skynyrd. He was the featured guitarist on Free Bird and had a couple bands on the side, with the best known being the Rossington-Collins Band. He was 71.
