And that opinion of waiting next year is a lot of hoping and praying and either as risky or even a bigger risk..

Waiting next year? A team should rarely draft a 1st round QB to be a franchise QB. Patience with a philosophy, system, and developed KPIs is more important. Drafting a QB in the 1st round is the worst way to find a QB for franchise success.

Only 8 1st round QBs have won a SB for the coach that drafted them. Teams rebuilding without SB leadership from the previous regime have been successful 5 times with a 1st round QB. A rebuilding team with no championship leadership is better off going with a 30 year old experience FA, add a young QB to develop, and use the 1st round pick on DT/LB or a freakish receiver.

The correct fit with a 1st round QB will eventually be there if the other QBs cannot win at a championship level. Have the team ready for that QB.

Oof. Could you imagine declining the rams trade just to trade him now?

Pretty surprising people still think fit aka Rhule’s GM is legit after that idiocy. Maybe it’ll come to light when they pay him out the ass soon. Even Hurney would’ve taken that move.

Saving 24/25 firsts by offering Burns in a trade up scenario is the only way to redeem that but that is slim. Rams’ offer was to severely overpay and no team will match that…yet Fit was too dumb to pull the trigger which shocked pretty much every analyst out there.

The fact he took ( what he thought was bpa) and got a B!!! All those glorious picks and still got a trash draft.. lmao

Based on the actual players, not trash at all. The trash is the

Pre set value of the

simulator. Again, real world vs theoretical wins everytime.

Couple this draft with a Carr or Jones and we are instant winners.

Teading up and giving away picks for any of the "top 4" puts us in a 3 yr window if uncertainty at best  Even I am certain already if the outcome. But hey,it would give you more chances to school us on another draft where we sell the teams future down the river.

QB: Brissett

RT: Moton

DE: Burns

+ two 2nd round picks

OR

QB: #1 pick in 2023 draft

RT: Broderick Jones

DE: Isaiah Foskey or other 2nd/3rd rounder acquired through trade back

+ $20mil in cap to spend on FAs

I know which choice I’m taking. The one that should secure the most important position on the field.

The most important position should be a good  player.its the player not the position.

We could secure Motons replacement

before he fades as well as other key positions by drafting right where we stand.

The situation you present says we need to draft Skoronsky more than ever.He is instant upgrade and a secure future for the oline. The Corbett situation magnifies the actual need for this pick.

You’re predicting a bigger class that might not happen while predicting this team will be bad enough to be close to any of the prospects.. A lot of if’s and maybe in this plan as well.. While right now we have a top 10 pick and the amino to move up.. Maybe you don’t like this class but overall this is a solid class of QB.. Strike while the you’re in position to.. Don’t wait and fall into trap looking at a worst situation trying to move up next year..

Lol...its a weak QB class. Its a solid TE , CB and LB class.Along with the best Olineman right in our wheelhouse at 9.Gotta go reality with this one.
