Not if you pick right, same principle with

Drafting bad qbs just because.

Pick what right??
You keep liveing in this fantasy world where somebody available all the time and you are in a perfect situation to get them..

We’ve tried this.. Stafford, Wilson, Watson said no.. Mahomes, Allen nor Burrows will be available to us..

What is your plan??

I know we’ve been “picking” the wrong path for 4 years now…

Im also starting to see you truly don’t have a plan other then waiting on the perfect situation to happen and being meh until then..

There just isn't a QB in this year's draft that is worth what it will take to move up into the Top 3 to take them.

I realize with a new staff and two 2nd round picks, people want to move up to get that franchise QB, but this year's class is just filled with guys with major question marks that the cost is too high.

Stay put, maybe one of the top 4 QB's falls to us at 9, if not, keep our picks to fill out our holes and then trade as many future 1st's as needed next year to move up in a much better QB class.

If we trade 9, our seconds this year, and future firsts for any QB in this class, it will be beyond stupid.  Sure one of them could work out, but that cost is WAY to high given the concerns over the QB's in this class.

At most, maybe I'd be okay with moving up to 5 or 6 if it costs say 9th pick, 49ers 2nd and maybe a future 2nd or 3rd.  But I'm not okay with giving up any future firsts for this year's class, and really against giving up both of our 2nd's this year as well, too many holes that can be filled with those picks.

The perfect situation is your made up fantasy to argue with yourself.

one of these is not like the rest

I do root for Young though. I love his game outside of his size, and I hope he has a career where we can look back and laugh at how bad he looks at the combine, a la Brady’s skinny ass in boxer shorts lol.

You keep saying some hold general statement

with no substance..

Atleast I’ve kept my opinion Focus and precise…

she just posted a mock where we were drafting a corner at 9.  Yeah man she is dialed into the panther organization

A mock with zero trades that I was asked to make interesting. I feel like Carolina will be moving up for a quarterback in this draft, just like everyone else does.

Okay I understand this plan on boundaries..

But it doesn’t live in reality..

1. Who knows if next year QB class will be that good.. Both Williams and Maye have another year of eligibility.. With NIL they can easily go back to school and get paid..

2. There has only been 3 recognized perfect QB prospects Lawrence, Luck, and Elway in the history of the nfl draft.. everybody else had ? Marks.. So this draft is no different from the Burrows, Mahomes, or Allen drafts.. Add in the fact that if there are “better prospects “ in next years draft.. It’s almost a certainty that the teams with those picks aren’t trading away their chance at getting those guys..

3. If you have any faith in this new staff.. You also must know that this team will be better and won’t be in position next year to get a QB.. If you believe we made good decisions in the coaching then you must believe this team will be to good to get a QB next year.. So reality is it will cost more to go get 1 next year.. right??

The opinions on next years QBs are a lot more varied than this year honestly. Like yes, Williams is a consensus top guy, but outside of that there is a variation of grades on everyone else. You are on the mark with point one.

    • For the silly people that worship her it will be that.  The Coleman 'legend' thing, they did that with another fairly average player that was here and I sort of mocked or questioned the 'legend' status. Instantly caught crap for insulting someone's favorite Panther. So okay, Kurt Coleman is a Legend.
    • You allow him to compete--you all are talking as if I am proposing making him the starter. Give him a new coach, new weapons, good OL, etc. and see what happens. You are saying, "Well Damn.  It did not work for 3 guys..."  Right now, our C is injured, we lost our top 2 WRs.  Better question:  If you need a QB, Why would you not take a chance on bringing in a QB who was a former first rounder, a good arm, intelligence, mobility, youth, etc.  and see how he does out of NY--with a better OL, better running game, better receivers.  I am not saying give him a 10-year contract, I am saying give him a chance. You act like there is no improvement on offense here--it was a 2 year process, and next year is year 2.  To me, how can you sit there with Bryce and an opportunity to sign a veteran QB on the cheap comes available and you say--"Not us. We're good.  We are waiting for Patrick Mahommes."  Jone's problem is obviously mental--and he has little support.  Why is this so frigging hard to comprehend.  It is called "bottom fishing" and it is better than sitting in the boat.
    • I think we're going to fall from behind quite early and be forced to abandon the run game.  3 rushes -2 yards 1 catch -10 yards
