Do we agree trading up to #3 with Cardinals is the best option for the team?

I would love to get the #1 pick but what it would take to move up would hurt us in the short term. Yeah we would have our choice of any of the QB's, but it would still be a huge gamble we would have to hit on.

I rather trade up to #3 and keep that extra 1st round pick we would lose if we traded with the Bears. We are guaranteed at least one of the top 3 QB's. They all same to be on the same tier as talents. I want Stroud but I would be happy with AR or Bryce at #3 or vice versa.

Basically it would take 3 1st round picks to get to #1. For the #3 pick we could probably get it with 2 1st round picks and maybe a later round pick. That seems to be the safe option just trading to #3 and getting the QB that falls into our lap.

Thoughts?

If the difference between 1 and 3 is a 2nd vs 1st, go get your guy at 1. That guy is CJ Stroud

As others have said, I’d rather just spend the extra 1st and go get Stroud. The top three aren’t on the same level. While I wouldn’t mind Richardson, especially if we don’t have to give up anything to get him (and this combine hype will cool off. Long time til the draft for people to go back and watch him on a football field in game situations), but Stroud is head and shoulders above the rest. The ability to put the ball where they want and make good decisions about where they want to put the ball >>>>>>> 4.4 40 and record broad jumps or whatever.  Stroud is amazing at those two most important traits, a whole different league from Richardson and yes even better than Young.

I’m just glad this Levis hype is cooling down. I mean, I’d love for one of the other teams to fall on that grenade and push a better QB down to us but I was getting nervous that team might end up us.

It’s being said that the price will be

9th overall

2nd Round Pick

2024 1st

2025 1st

That’s a lot of capital for a guy who might pull a Zach Wilson. Then how you gonna draft and develop cause your shits gone. They will go sign more FA QBs and the huddle with bitch for another 10 years.
