DeAngelo Williams Status

Does anyone know what the status of DeAngelo Williams is? I saw bits and pieces of Fox's post game conference but nothing was said about Williams or why they ultimately ended up sitting him today. I know it was because of the ankle injury but I thought (regardless of the fact that he didn't practice this week) that he would still suit up for today's game.

So is this serious? Are they playing this safe? Will he be active for New England?

Thoughts?

Carolina is not out of the Playoff picture yet, and New England sure isn't playing very well right now. They need DeAngelo back.

Probably figured that they could get enough w/o him from the ground game against Tampa. Will need 110% from DeAngelo against NE. I bet if today mattered he would have played.

well considering he played after he got hurt last week, i think this week against a 1 win team was nothing more than making sure he doesnt get hurt worse.

I am sure he will Suit Up this week.

I will even bet he has a great game because you could tell he wanted to be out there today. I think he will be better than ever Sunday.
