2005 EA Sports NFL Quarterback Challenge

On the final pass of the final drill, Panthers QB Jake Delhomme wins the contest by connecting with the father of a certain cornerback who was drafted 8th overall by the Panthers two years ago.

Also competing in the contest that year, new Panthers quarterback coach Josh McCown. McCown would go on to win the challenge himself two years later.

So besides all the other quarterback centric connections, the Panthers can now boast that they're associated with two winners of the Quarterback Challenge and the son of a player who helped one of them win

Thanks Mr. Scot. I remember that challenge and Jake winning. Joe Horn is the only Saints player that I have ever liked. First year of Ericsson stadium (now BoA) he threw a glove to one of my kids & I still have it.

You sure? He was a Chief 96 to 99 and Panthers didn't play Chiefs in 96

lol No I'm not sure. I just know it was early in Panthers history. When they used to let kids crowd around the visitors tunnel.
