Bucs bring out the best in Panthers' run attack

(By David Scott, [email protected]) There's something about facing the Tampa Bay Buccaneers that perks up Jonathan Stewart and the Carolina Panthers' running attack. p/ Even with starter DeAngelo Williams missing the game with an ankle injury, the Panthers ran for 157 yards in a 16-6 victory against the Buccaneers in Bank of America Stadium.

For some reason, we bring out the best in their rushing game as well. Irt YPC, Cadillac has only had 4 games this year better than 4ypc and two of them were against us.

their running game was just as good if not better. they ran for 3 less yards total but over a yard more per carry.

the only thing we accomplished today was to beat a 1-10 team by making incredible defensive stops in the red zone after having the ball marched up and down the field on us.

that crap won't fly against the 4 remaining teams on the schedule.

this game could have easily been 20 to 16. we squeezed one out of our assess today. lets celebrate it and enjoy it but remember, it was an EXPECTED win and not some larger than life miracle win.

now, if we can pull next week out of our asses in foxboro, then i'll be swinging from the rafters!
