It's a sellers market and we are going to be the suckers to fall for it. The Bears and Cardinals are going to absolutely fleece some teams.

This will be an expensive venture. I think three firsts is where bidding starts, including our #9.

Now is the time to make a move though. Recycled QBs haven’t worked for this team and they didn’t work for reich in Indy. The o-line is solid and we have a good staff with tons of actual experience. It’s time to go all in for the guy we want.

I wouldn't be surprised if we were one of them. It such a glaring hole and if all the hype right now is to be believed both Young and Stroud are legit.

If we had ended up with a top 3 pick and moving to #1 wasnt going to  cost us significantly I wouldnt have made the comment.

 

But if we have to give up 3 1s to get that first choice then they all do.  They are all just as capable of turning into a Leaf, Marinovich, or Russel. 

Im a long way from the smartest football guy around here but the idea of trading years worth of firsts seems wrong-headed when it doesnt come with a guarantee.
