What a weekend of canes outdoor Hockey. It was everything we wanted. All that is in the past now. We have a slate of very winnable games coming up starting tonight. 3 game home stand. Back on a three game wins streak!  Let’s go make it 4!

Trying to find a unique patch to sew on one of my jersey shoulders. Anyone have any recommendations. Can’t find any Raleigh Icecaps patches - maybe a whalers?

Basically 5/27 of our remaining games are against teams that don’t really have a shot at the playoffs. Everyone else still has a fighting chance. So basically we are running a gauntlet before we run the real gauntlet.

The good news is both The Rags and NJ also have a pretty grueling stretch of games to close out the season too.

As for current standings we definitely have their hardest SOS currently. NJ is decently hard, Rangers is meh hard.

I count 13/27 remaining games against teams that are guaranteed a playoff spot unless their wheels absolutely fall off. And only 5 games like I said that are against teams that basically have no shot at contention. So that leaves our 9 remain games vs teams that are fight for a wild card.

I'll be watching from the house tonite, then I'm off to Aruba for a bit. Will be home just in time to be at PNC for the Flyers game on the 9th and the Jets game on the 14th. I'll be keeping tabs while I'm laying on the beach....
