Caps Anthony Mantha Dirty Hit on Jordan Martinook

So, here's the play and slo-mo replay of Anthony Mantha, member of the Washington Caps goon squad slew-footing Martinook, hitting him twice in the face while he was down and then landing a cross check to the head when he was trying to get up.

NHL refs for the stadium game missed what should have been a 4 minute penalty and will likely not even levy any fines. Only goes to add to the Caps reputation as a bunch of cheap shot players on a mediocre hockey team. The new Caps motto: "Can't play with the big boys? Just play dirty and don't worry about the losing."

What's just as bad is how the fight goes immediately after. Mantha doesn't indicate he wants a fight. He was being dirty and getting told off about it and basically sucker punches Marty. Like it's the most bullshit, bully thing I've seen in a while. The fact that nobody went after him after the box speaks to Rod's leadership and keeping guys calm because I'd have ran him the rest of the game. Every opportunity, running him as hard as possible.
