That was probably because the team site didn't have his position listed.

They do now. He's shown as safeties coach.

Per Dan himself on the Pat McAfee Show today; Dan Orlovsky was considered for a position on Frank's staff (assuming QB coach)...could be the next Ken Dorsey !
