Sure, but it's still a collaboration; Tabor and Campen are the epitome of that collaborative spirit, and should at least suggest to people what's going on.

So you're suggesting Frank was too stupid the recognize the talent that was already on staff.

Reich hires the offensive staff and DC. He is letting his new DC hire his defensive staff. It’s no secret how this works. He went into his interview pitching his staff candidates which is what helped him get the job.

He wasn’t the driving force behind the others. You can’t point to a single staff hire that was connected to Fitterer and I’ve shown he’s never actually been through a coaching hire before.

Tabor and Campen were obviously connected to Fitterer. 

Fitterer is a GM now---a legitimate GM. Get used to it.

Perhaps, but I highly doubt it. This is a new day with smarter heads and a more realistic outlook. Fitterer has the final say in personnel decisions, but us supported by Reich and an excellent staff.

By the way, are you two friends because man you sure seem upset with the notion that Reich built a good staff because he’s got way more NFL coaching experience and connections than Fitterer?

Reich is building a good staff and as has been mentioned already he came to our interviews prepared on staff hiring. Reich built the staff and OMG kept two coaches who clearly did well here of course thanks to Rhule hiring them! Get used to it.

Fitterer has had good drafts, regardless if you see it or not, and that was notwithstanding Rhule. He's also amenable to learning, is not ego-driven, comes from a personnel/scouting background, and is well-connected That's why he is still here and Rhule isn't.

Fitterer is the Panthers GM, rather you like it or not.

I think it's a good start. The team needs a new direction and not the same old-same old that we've seen all our history. 

All the applause for what looks like the most impressive coaching staff in team history will not mean anything though unless we get the qb right. Easier said than done, but it looks like there is enough smarts and know-how to help with that now.

It sure feels like an exciting time to be a Panthers fan. Been a while for that feeling honestly.
