Here's what I think. I think if Carr visits the Panthers he will end up with the Panthers after he evaluates his options.  Of the 3 FA qb's worth considering Carr to the Panthers makes too much sense.  The contract however will be the deciding factor.  I just have this feeling he a Frank will hit it off.

If you paid attention you will see I have been suggesting Carr going to the 49ers because of their loaded roster.

 

Carr is not helping this roster go anywhere.

You're assuming we actually want him. Frank hasn't confirmed interest yet.

It's quite possible.

He and Reich might wind up really hitting it off.

(though Reich has made clear he won't decide alone)

This thought has been lurking in the back of my mind ever since he became available.  Its like a itch that won't go away.  I hope I'm wrong.

 I think if we were interested we would have jumped in the sweepstakes the second he interviewed with the saints.

Carr decides who he wants to visit.  Besides, we are not going to lift our skirt for the first sailor to walk by. He's got to learn what he's worth around the league before he gets serious with anyone.  Like I said, his asking price will determine how interested we are.

He's probably looking for 30mil a year and so far neither the Saints or Jets trying to pay him that much.

He's going to let the market set his contract worth.  He may very well get 40+ mil per season somewhere.  I'm just not sure we are one of those teams.
