Post your ideal draft scenario

If this were to happen, I would die a happy man. WR can be had in FA the top options did not outweight BPA imo. LB is a weak position and instead of going cheap get some solid talent that also can play ST. RB is deep in this draft but this kid can run with power and spee. Mayer dropping to the 2nd is a godsend and Trenton Simpson could be our next anchor at LB for years to come. Trading up to 3 for Stroud cost a pretty penny but how the other chips fell were more than worth it imo. I realize I went heavy on defense but at the end of the day I feel offensively we are solid and a few vet pieces could really take us over the top. The defense has potential and honestly has the best pure talent but not the depth or the man power for a proper transition to 3-4.

My ideal draft scenario involves Chicago trading for 9th selection by offering us their next 3 1sts, but I don't really see that happening.

Stroud at 9 would be a dream. Also I think Brian Branch and Mayer are both future pro bowlers and would love them in a trade down. Also Eli Ricks with a 3rd round pick would be a steal. He was an elite corner his freshman year at LSU and last year started playing well the end of the year for Bama.

Drake Maye petitions the NFL and somehow gains the ability to be allowed into the supplemental draft. Finally acknowledging fuging us over in SB50 the NFL grants us an extra 1st round pick in '24 that we use to select Drake Maye in the 2023 supplemental draft.

My ideal realistic scenario is the Bears stay at 1 and take their defensive player, Houston takes Young and we trade up with Cards at 3 to take Stroud.
