They had to move on from Carr or McDaniel. They couldn't afford(literally) to fire McDaniel so Carr it is.

Yep, Raiders owner, Mark Davis, is a poor man trying to win at a rich man's game.  He is a dunderhead in comparison to his father.  Of all the dumb moves Mark has made over the years, hiring McDaniels is the dumbest.  Now he can't afford to fire guy, so Carr had to go.  McDaniels will destroy the Raiders just like he destroyed the Broncos.

Because they have two guys on rookie contracts. One just played pretty well and the other they traded a ton to move up to draft. If I was them I'd have the same plan they likely have - go into camp and let them battle it out.

That team is a QB1 from a Super Bowl.  The young guys are fine but it seems like a hell of an opportunity to waste on Lance and Purdy.

Please let him go to the Saints!

Nobody is fearing Carr in this division.

That's also helps us in the draft the Saints were ahead of us looking for a QB.

Be careful what you wish for.  The Saints have a good OL, solid defense, and some playmakers in Kamara and Olave.  Give them a good QB plus the draft pick they got back for Payton they could be dangerous in the NFC...

If Purdy or Lance were healthy they could have won the Super Bowl.  They were down to their 3rd string in the NFC championship game.

I'll just say I wouldn't hate it if we picked Carr up. I'm a fan and it would help us focus the draft on getting an upgrade at WR, TE, and/or CB.

He'd be more expensive than a rookie, but we'd come out of the gates a lot quicker, we'd have a really good QB with a huge chip in his shoulder, and we wouldn't have to give up any draft capital to get him.

Basically I'm good if we draft one of the top 3 or if we pick Carr up.

For a QB looking to rebuild his resume......panthers looking sooo hawt right now...

Im not a Carr fan, but like him more than many huddlers.

Carr has had 20 HCs during his raiders era, think about it.....I bet more OCs too...

Raiders have ranked 32 in defense since Carr was drafted.

Then theres the one playoff game and inconstancy, but I blame the raiders org much more than Carr.

Hes in the Cousins group for me.

This is almost assuredly the discussion Reich's coaches and Tepper are having at the moment.
