Money talks.

There's probably a lot of truth to that 😕

But I'd likely still have to give the major portion of the credit to Reich for this build.

Money may talk, but it doesn't necessarily make smart choices. That takes a guy who knows what he's doing.

I thought nobody wanted to come here because Tepper is a big fat racist and Frank Reich sucks. At least thats what the huddle told me.

Yeah that aged well. As many of us know, you just have to give it time for things to come together.

I'll give him some credit, but he's really not the only smart football guy in the room.

As for his hire, he'll earn my loyalty when we start winning.

It's early, and a lot has yet to pass, but today I'd say that Reich needs to win at least eight games before I'll be satisfied. And I'd consider that a somewhat low bar.

I was Team Steichen but have to admit, I don't see any of the HCs this cycle doing what we have done. Even the great and illustrious douche that is Sean Payton....I don't see his staff being one that I would be this excited about.

I almost hoped Payton would go to Indy. I guess Irsay and Payton didn't sniff each other out.

I NEVER bought into the race angle. And I’m African-American. One only has to look at the diversity within the Panthers’ organization to see that was pure BS. It was known before the search got underway that Tepper was looking for an offensive minded HC. Out of respect for Wilks, he was given a shot but he didn’t do enough and frankly, hiring him would’ve meant settling for the status quo. Had nothing to do with race, although I understand the optics. It was time for a change. And Tepper could see the League is trending toward more dynamic offense. 7 of the 8 teams that made the playoffs (including the two that represented in the SB) we’re headed by coaches with strong offensive backgrounds. I’m excited to see the team live supported since it’s inception finally getting on board.

I question why it was a vote with inexperienced people, most of whose (3/5) are not even football people. That’s strange. Think it’s a bad sign Tep is still taking a very hands on approach. I also am skeptical that out of all the blunders that came with Rhule, Fit just went under the radar and somehow Rhule’s backwards GM hire is he’s totally qualified and everyone thinks he’s great/qualified. Also very strange. I also don’t like Reich’s stint with the Colts at all, but plenty of examples of coaches learning.

And Reich IS an actual football person. He does know what he was doing so I never doubted his ability to fill out a nice staff.

The question remains most important QB, and is Fit competent in filling out a real roster. I have these doubts and these will make or break Reich.

I will feel much more on board if they somehow finagle moving up and getting an elite talent. Reichs’ offense will look like trash with retreads and game managers.

Those are fair concerns.

You have to wonder with this new coaching staff in place... if we go get a veteran QB like Carr ... its bc this group wanted it.

With the additional Colts connection, I'm wondering if they might make a move for someone like Morocco Brown.

    • lol It's 2 games in with a broken QB it's too early to tell. I hope Canales works out but this is still funny.
    • Man there truly is no helping the stupid that litters this place
    • This backlash has truly been sad and was part of the reason I believe Bryce was drafted in the first place. He was small and looked like a kid and everybody just loved that he was also good at football. Once I heard CJ Stroud talking on his podcast tour this summer, I was like well that is the reason he isn't here. I remember the hatred for Cam that basically arose out of him being a massive, confident, black man. Every time a new broadcast crew met him during warmups the telecast was just about how larger than life he was. I even had a friend who is close to Cam's size talk about him sucking the air out of every room goes into like being big, loud, and confident is a bad thing. And many here along with the media never showed any sympathy, empathy, or a second thought to the shite Cam had to put up with while here. Till this day it is either about the stupid fumble that didn't matter that he didn't jump on, or that he only had like one good year.  So to see this crazy backlash from the sports and social media regarding Canales benching a small, weak, entitled, non verbal QB who is playing terrible, struggling to recognize defenses, missing open WRs, and leaving clean pockets is mind blowing! Only Chase Daniels watched the film before talking this week. Everyone else used it as an opportunity pine for Bryce and crap on organization. Again, I hope someone is dumb enough to give us Josh Rosen compensation for him.
