Greg could walk circles around Brady.  Brady might know the game very well but you have to have a personality to be a color man.  I just don't see it.

Greg comes across as a genuine dude who happens to be incredibly knowledgeable about football. 

Brady will not connect with people in the same way.

Just like the best players don't always make the best coaches, the same is true for announcing.  It's a completely different skill set.  Tom is probably too bland to be good at it.  And nobody will tune in just to hear his voice on commentary.  You tune into a game to watch the game, and you are at the mercy of whoever is assigned to calling it.

I didn't even realize he was going to be doing the Super Bowl. He's great in the booth and it's even better to have a former Panther repping. I hope he gets more opportunities. I'd much rather listen to him than some others.

Fox needs to overhaul their whole desk.  Two players that havent played in 30+ years and another who would rather be on a daytime talk show.  A coach who hasnt coached in this century.  Its all just a little too "grandpa's football show" for my tastes.  Add in the absolute cringe attempts at humor and the in your face gambling and its all just too much and way out of step.

Greg future is super bright.  He’s born to do this.  Also glad he will be advertising and cheering for the panthers for the next 20 years or so.
