Brett Favre is an AWFUL human and I hope Pat McAfee WWEs his ass with legal bills!

This probably could go in the unpopular opinion thread but...

In a battle for who is shittier, Pat and Bret could easily fight to a tie.  Wouldn't mind watching these two jocks sue each other into bankruptcy and irrelevance.  Not that Bret is particularly relevant these days.

Stop it. You can not like Pat McAfee, you can think he's annoying, loud mouthed or whatever other words you want to use to describe his version of sports media you clearly don't like.

There is absolutely no scenario or universe where he is even remotely close to being "shittier" or even as terrible as Brett Favre is.

The closest thing to a scandal McAfee has is an arrest for public intoxication when he was in his 20s. On a scale of 1 - Stealing money from fuging Medicaid recipients in the poorest state in the country... that may be a 1.

Ok but he’s not the authority here who has control over the $. Those politicians are pure scum and worse than Favre

Some poo smells worse than other poo, but it's all poo. I'm not surprised at its politicians, and I'm not surprised that any good ol' boy like Favre would exploit the situation.

Mississippi is really a rotten state in general.

I made a thread years ago about what a jerk he is.  I had direct knowledge of his refusal to give a dying kid his wish. The kid had turned 18 and just aged out of Make a Wish and was dying of cancer.  A social worker at a St Jude Clinic had a cousin who worked for the Packers.  The kid's dying wish was  to go to a Packers game and meet Favre.  Favre refused.  The cousin said he was an a-hole and arranged for another player on the team to meet the kid. (Can't remember now who the player was but he was happy to help).  That player got the kid tickets to a game...and met him, gave him a jersey, etc.  The SW was able to arrange the trip for the kid and his family.

Favre is a low life and so is the Miss gov who conspired to redirect funds designated for  the poor to Favre to fund some volleyball thing at his daughter's college. Favre could have donated his own money. He has plenty. They should all be in jail.

And, IMO..should move this thread  to the NFL forum.

This is a bit personal for me, as I spent a lot of my childhood in Mississippi. I also know of Favres people. Went to school with some of them on the coast.

Hes trash. You don’t know how poor that state is until you actually go and spend some time there. He and the state are foul as hell. He won’t get punished like he should. Them good ole boys out there will do their best to limit damage to him

Lived in Jackson for seven years. Mississippi is a sad story.

Not Panthers related.  Could care less about Brett Favre,  corrupt Miss politicians, and any related coverage of it.

Panthers season is over which means anything NFL related is fair game

    • I don't get the Hunter hate. Just imagine his ceiling if he stopped trying to be this 2way freak and focused on one side of the ball
    • 100%.  You have to play the cards that are dealt.  Not the cards you wish were dealt.
    • I'd say its definitely going to be addressed this off-season.  We went into the last draft with a roster of RBs including:  Chubba, Blackshear, and Miles Sanders. We picked Jonathan Brooks in the second and still signed Rashaad Penny afterwards.  Fast forward....One turned into a top 10 back, 1 is injured/out for most if not all the '25 season, 1 retired, 1 will either take a huge paycut or be cut, and the last is a restricted free agent. We brought in Mike Boone as well. Add him to the free agent list also.  We need a physical option.    Which qualifies:  Ashton Jeanty(Boise St): Overall ranked Top 10. Almost 2k yards after contact, 28 tds. Would take our first rounder. My money would be on an NFC East team selecting him. (97.2 PFF run grade) - 121 forced missed tackles.  Omarion Hampton(UNC): Ranked everywhere from 20 - 59 overall. Consensus #2 back after Jeanty. He'll be a second rounder. 1,222 Yards after contact w/ 15 tds.  (90.5 PFF run grade) - 72 forced missed Tackles Kaleb Johnson(Iowa): Ranked from 38 - 69 depending on which media outlet you prefer but generally #3. 2nd/3rd possibly. 1,060 Yards after contact w/ 21 tds.(86.7 PFF run grade)- 66 forced missed tackles Cam Skattebo: Ranked from the 50's - 104. Every mock I do he ends up BPA at some point. 969 Yards after contact w/ 17 tds(92 PFF Run Grade). Probably the best receiving back of the group. 81 forced missed tackles.  If the '24 and '25 draft classes were combined, IMO the rankings would be, in order: Jeanty, Hampton, Brooks, Johnson, Skattebo. I wouldn't take one high but I'd take one for Chubba and Brooks insurance.
