Not really that shocking. That cap hit and the whole situation in Green Bay has got to leave some people wondering what the hell is going on there.

Terrell Owens had all the talent in the world but people couldn't stand to be around him.

Rodgers seems to have entered that same territory.

That was kind of my thought too. He's done some things that to a casual fan scream he's an ass.

Smart teams probably don't.

It's been said that the Jets brass don't necessarily want that either, but team owner Woody Johnson does.

Johnson is the same guy who kept Rex Ryan around as head coach because he liked his big talking personality.

It's a move for a win it all now team. With Rodgers it's possible he could get them into that conversation quickly, but the AFC is not going to be easy to get through at all.

That's literally one of the reasons he dropped in the draft.  The 49ers were deciding between Alex Smith and Aaron Rodgers with the #1 overall pick.  After meeting Rodgers the choice became clear it wouldn't be him, because he came off as an arrogant dik and they couldn't see a guy like that leading the franchise.  That's from Mike Nolan (head coach back then) and Mike McCarthy (the OC at the time for the 49ers).
