The Giants fans I know were all hoping they'd let Jones walk and I don't blame them. There's no way he's worth that kind of money. His career best season had him 15th in passing yards, 21st in passing TDs, and 14th in QB rating. 

I wouldn't be thrilled at the prospect of paying $40M a year for a QB whose best case scenario is middle of the road.

They would have been better of drafting one of the franchise QBs you can easily get a bit further down in the draft that I’ve been hearing about.
