I don't recall the 2016-2018 Lions being anything that mind blowing with a prime Matt Stafford. Don't see how this guy would blow Fitt and Tepp away during Reichs interviews anyways.

It's mostly Reich's offense and now Duce Staley will have his input (especially in the running game).  Cooter (makes me chuckle every time) was Pederson's passing game coordinator this past year and played a major role in developing Lawrence after Meyer screwed everything up in Jacksonville.  Sounds like a good person to help develop a rookie QB when we draft one.

At the age of 25... What was the aftermath?

According to Wikipedia:

"He was arrested for driving under the influence in June 2006, and was suspended from the Volunteers as a result. In 2009, he was charged with aggravated burglary after climbing into a window and getting into a woman's bed. The charges were later dropped."

I keep forgetting we have an offensive coach who's probably going to call his own plays. It's DC that's going to be the major hire.

James "Jim Bob" Cooter, now 31, was arrested and charged with aggravated burglary in 2009 and with drunken-driving in 2006, according to previous reports from the Associated Press and The Tennessean. In June 27, 2009, a woman said he climbed through an apartment window, stripped down to his underwear and got into bed with her, the AP reported July 2, 2009. Knoxville police spokesman Darrell DeBusk said at the time that there was no indication Cooter knew the woman.

Hell, who hasn't gotten wasted and crawled through the wrong bedroom window?

Sign the guy on! He seems like he would fit right in with the motley crew they are throwing together.

If we signed him the Huddle would need to ban:

1) Every 18 and under male posting from Mommy's basement

2) People who were fixated on anatomy over football

3)Individuals who need to tie almost every post to body functions or sex acts

That would definitely decrease bandwidth costs for the platform . . .

    • They reached for Pickett, so they are not immune to it.  I could see that as well.  I just think the Colts are flying under the radar and they have been too quiet concerning their QB situation--of course, they could think Jones is their guy (they had a good one named Jones a long time ago) but I think they are done with the Richardson experiment.   Even if I believed in Jones, I would still draft a QB--I also read one mock that said the Jets would take Sanders if he falls to 7---I disagree, but I was once wrong and it still bothers me.
    • I just switched to prime video with fanduel south. Will I be able to watch the Canes playoff games still?
    • I mean, you can use that "logic," but the problem is that most practice squad players, backups or average guys don't put the play on film that Wharton did when given their opportunities.  Perhaps you'll end up right, but I don't think that just because a guy has been in a rotation makes him inherently less productive because he gets more snaps. I will say that the KC fans I've seen on social media loved him, and considered him their second best DT,  regardless of his "rotational" status, and generally considered him a dawg, so I'm going to give him the benefit of doubt until he shows otherwise.
