QB that is right in front of us

The Corral narrative around here is as silly as can be.

The kid was a blue chip recruit and an outstanding college QB.

The Panthers agreed with ME, not you and Corral is training at 800S Mint St.

And rumors have it the Panthers/Tepper is high on Levis. @ForJimmy knows my thoughts on Levis, probably the safest pick at QB with Josh Allen type potential but better out of the gate.

The Panthers seem to agree.

So @ForJimmy it's not too late to join the bandwagons brother.

I have nothing against Levis. I’ve said the whole time if he is Reich’s guy, I’m more than ok with it. I think he played injured last year with a terrible OC, terrible OL, and few weapons.

Going to out on a limb and say that Sam won't be brought back, though.

I mean with Reich, he'd probably want HIS own guy (even a Free Agent Vet).

Not sure he'd want someone who the previous "coach" picked.

Reich is in a cooperative relationship with the GM and owner who courted then pounced on Corral in free fall. They both, Corral and Fitterer get the opportunity to see if HE and Tepper we're correct.

Everyone is missing those points in favor of the "hot new" QB in the draft.

Panthers will ride this out to see if anyone wants to trade up for one of these QBs or they'll draft a monster DE and roll with Golden Corral like they always intended to this season. Top five defense and a high potential of a top 15-20 QB.

The time to go QB crazy isn't THIS draft. It's NEXT draft for Carolina homeboy Drake Maye if we need him.

    • This is factually incorrect. He was a two time Pro Bowler with the Rams and in fact statistically he was better with the Rams in his best season there than he has been with the Lions(could change with this season). Some of his per game stats have creeped into being marginally better with the Lions but there have not been dramatic differences in his play, actually. The biggest reason that McVay and he ended up splitting was McVay didn't think he could win a title with Goff. TBH.....so far he was 100% correct. Stafford almost immediately won them a SB and Goff in a historic run was about 70% of the reason the Lions faltered in the NFC championship game. He missed critical throws all over the first half and throughout the second half that he normally wouldn't. He choked. So, until Goff actually does win a SB...McVay has been right.
    • they have the best defense they've had in a long time...probably the best in the reid/mahommes era.  but i think they are probably the most beatable they've been in a while as well. record doesn't exactly bear that out, but they just don't look as strong on offense as they usually do. lots of reasons for that, like trying to build chemistry with newer receivers, but right now they just aren't as frightening as they typically are. i mean they'll probably win tomorrow, but i don't see them as the strongest team in the AFC right now.
    • He will likely remain unsigned the remainder of this season(barring someone being in a pure QB panic AND making poor decisions) largely due to the cost. I do think he will get multiple offers to be a backup QB and perhaps a couple to potentially start this offseason.  I will continue to beat the same horse over and over.....he should go to a successful team with an established starter. If I were him, go to somewhere like SF, LAR, etc. Somewhere with a successful QB coach and brilliant offensive mind and ALSO a set situation at QB. Ride the pine and adjust for a year or two. Chill and be around better culture. I would suggest the same for Bryce but he will be limited to wherever we can trade him.
