My favorite part about Moore is that his throws went to just about everyone... Jake tunnels people pretty hard, but it looked like Moore is spreading the ball out better. This gives me hope for Jarrett not being a bust...

It was "just" TB, but that doesn't mean much. Both of these teams play each other hard, and Morris has had his team fired up. Please, they picked Jake off twice in their earlier loss, and limited him to absolutely terrible numbers - they know how to play us pretty well... well, our passing attack. lol. We would have lost the game earlier in the season if D-Will was out, that's almost guaranteed...

If Moore can develop some chemistry with Smitty, this offense could really get going. Certainly didn't see him as a downgrade compared to Delhomme.

Moore still need a lot of work. Based on his play, he need to step up even more against the Vikings & Patriots soon.

And funny to hear some are defending him on an INT. he threw. Look like the same when Smitty forgot to turn around to get Jake's ball one time that land on his foot.

That INT was just a good play by the defender. He made a great move faking to go out to cover Smith then quickly changed his direction to cover the TE (I think Rosario?) then the ball was deflected into the air.

The long ball to Smith he got lucky that Smith bailed him out.

Thanks for the fail attempt jab at me. The ball was on target. Smith didn't have to adjust to it or make an acrobatic catch. Unlike Delhomme's long ball where it would've been poorly underthrown.

The INT was his fault, just like almost every one of Jake's INTs was his fault. Could plays have gone differently? yeah.

The biggest thing was the offense moved the ball in the first quarter. The biggest downside there was only 1 TD. For as many turnovers as our D got, I would have liked to have seen more points. Offense still needs A LOT of work, no matter the QB.

Apparently you never seen Panthers against GB last year where Jake threw 2 long one like that to Smitty & he caught it. Yeah he couldn't do this year with how he is playing lately, but you're trying to imply like Jake never could do that before in all of his years here. :seeya:

Funny that you bring that up when Smitty did have to go up for that jump ball and make an acrobatic catch. Nice try though.

The only thing I am attempting is to disprove the "bail out" argument. Qb's have to put the ball in a position where they need to be bailed out. There was another close interception where Moore eyed down Smith on a fake hitch and put alot of air on the ball 9 yards downfield. If Smith had come down with it, it would have been something you call bail out. I call it making a play.

Oh Smith did have to adjust to it and slow down a little for it. No biggie. It was a nice throw.

Moore did play better than Jake did against TB. However Jake sucks ass this year. I refuse to get excited about him yet. Do I like what I saw today, yeah he wasn't horrible and he didn't lose the game with TO's. Did he look like a Franchise QB, no.

I still think that we need to draft a QB with our second if one is there worth taking. Although this draft class has really tailed off at the QB position as the year has gone on. We also should bring someone else in if the FO does not believe that McCown is thier guy.
