Gene Steratore confirmed on Pat McAfee that he would've called 2 holds on the Chiefs on that final play.  By textbook, hould've been offsetting. Also admitted the Hilton PI was not warranted.

That game should've gone to OT.  Damn shame.

One thing is for sure--that crew is relegated to Panthers games next year lol.

Former VP of officials Blandino also said he wouldn’t have called intentional grounding on Burrow.

haven’t seen anyone address the no call on the roughing the passer on Burrow.  Guess it’s just too many bad calls to keep up with in a short window

Anyone who couldn't see that the officiating in that game was fuged is either wildly biased or willfully ignorant. The worst day of NFL officiating since SB50. It honestly dampens my enthusiasm for watching the SB.

SB50 easily is my #1.  Week 1 Denver is my #2. And I still got that game the Saints tried to murder Vikings Favre as my #3.

Oh stop. There’s no way you can pin this as a wash. Get your bias out of here. Please defend the blatant holding on the final play. Defend the debacle. Defend that bogus PI that was hand on hip with no twist.

That second INT was basically a punt as well. Burrow isn’t the MAIN reason Cincy didn’t win. Cut the crap.

Burrow's best play of the night came on a bone-headed decision to throw into blanket double coverage.  LUCKILY for him his receiver made a fantastic play on what should have been a 3rd interception.  He did not play well, and the refs called a good game.  I was actually pulling for Cincy in the game, so not sure what you mean by bias.

    • Just started my armchair scouting this week with the EDGE guys. Not very impressed with Mykel Williams, was disappointed that JT Tuimoloau seemed to decline a bit from last season, and was impressed with Jack Sawyer's motor but he reminds me of YGM with better hand-fighting. To be fair to all of them, I've got only two games each reviewed so far. Abdul Carter is a freak. I'm very eager to dive into the Mike Green film. Got a feeling that he's long gone by the time the Panthers get to make their second selection (whether or not they trade up) but going to hold on to hope!
    • We know Ben Johnson wants a ton of control over roster decisions. I'm sure Chicago relinquished that.  I get it on his part. Caleb Williams has been the "Andrew Luck" prospect for years now. Not shocking that Ben wanted that guy. I also do think the Bears roster is a lot better than our roster, not that we should be comparing anyway.    Here's hoping we make everyone of those deep dish mfers regret that trade.
    • For me, this was always the retooling year. I was deceived by the insanely hot start. I think your assessment is spot on.  Time to call up some of the young guys on the farm, let the old guys walk. and I hope we move some pieces and get a bigtime goaltender. I still don't think we can make a run this year, but following this year, we should have a roster capable of getting it done for the next several years. Never know what can happen if you just get a ticket to the dance though.
