Thanks. Mr. Scot posted the Sam interview in another thread. It's a great interview that gives you insight on what kind of team he intends to build.

Good answers from him, clearly an seasoned NFL guy happy for him and his family

1. Toughness (mental and physical)

2. Decision maker

3. Accurate passer

4. play maker / elevate team in key moments (3rd down, red zone, 2 minute)

5. X factor / leadership

This should provide a rubric for looking at the rookie QB class.

Concerned that I didn't hear anything about the process, JZ, or not beating ourselves.  Hopefully his wife and family are involved and searching for players with cool names to draft.

Seriously though, its a nice departure from the used car sales tactics.  No matter whether you like the hire or not, there is an adult in the room.
