Feel like Chinn would get back to what he does best as a SS in that system as well.

Scott said he wants a ball hawk safety... so putting Chinn in the Kam Chancellor  role and going after a TRUE ball hawk safety would be huge.

No way. Chinn has shown he can't match up 1 on 1 coverage deep down field consistently. He's better for a hybrid linebacker position, closer to the line of scrimmage.

Chinn would be best as a Sam LB.  He can cover, but it's not his best attribute.  TEs he should be able to match up with in coverage.  Otherwise, keep him down in the box.

Ummm... that's basically what Chancellor was. He basically played a joker type S/LB hybrid role. He spent a LOT of time in the box.

I've always said that if you want to see how Jeremy Chinn should ideally be used, watch Kam Chancellor in Seattle.
