I like Wilks. Think he did a decent job. With that being said, I didn’t want him as the panthers head coach. Didn’t really want Reich, but I do like he has shown to have placed an importance on offense, so I don’t mind the hire.

Other than the Panthers, what other teams have interviewed Wilks to fill their HC vacancy? The Panthers gave him 12 games and 2 interviews to convince management that he’s the most qualified for the job, apparently he didn’t.

Jesus. Some of you make Wilks out to be some lost soul, downtrodden from multiple reasons, unable to stand on his own two feet like he's some poor beggar. Stop feeling SORRY for him. He has a lot of money, has coached in the NCAA and the NFL, and lives a nice life. The man is going to be just fine.

If Wilks shares his attorney's opinion, it will change my view of him.  He lost out to a coach with more experience with a better record and he feels like he was cheated?

I get being very disappointed but he faded at the end and flaws were becoming evident. In many ways, Tepper would have "looked better" if he stayed with Wilkds but he felt the team was better with Reich. To me, this type of attitude won't help minority coaches get hired quicker, it will atually hurt them.

I cannnot see Steve Wilks remaining here with the Panthers for obvious reasons that have been pointed out.

Hopefully he will soon get a much deserved HC position on another team because he is certainly better than some that are presently in that position.

I got one hope I never have to hear Steve Wilks and the Carolina panthers in the same sentence ever again after this offseason.

the media push for this guy was nothing short of an embarrassment and tells you all you need to know about these fan sites, the observer, and wfnz. They are the bottom of the barrel of the sports world.

The longer this goes on the more overrated this guy gets. I’m sure people will rip this post and bitch and moan, but all the proof I need is the total of 0 head coaching interviews this guy has received outside of Carolina. 
 

he’s a nice guy. He is a great guy. He’s a man of character. But I hope to god he’s the next defensive coordinator of the Atlanta falcons.

Texans I believe is his next choice but I think they waiting on 49ers DC...but I was told Wilks did like their draft capital...and believe that's the best fit for him.

Mark my words if he goes to HC the Texans...they are making the playoffs first year. And our season going be done half way through...man the huddle going be a fun place either way it goes if he is hired somewhere else.
