2 D.J. Moore 2018 2022 0.5 4.2 0.0 4.6 65.0 0.3

If DJ is worth a 1st round selection, so is Mark Andrews at TE.

why are you comparing him to dj moore as I can give you 20 other wrs that totally justify their draft position in that same time frame?

You literally just stated Geodert is a first round talent at tight end, fuging crazy man and TJ Hock just got traded in division.  Pitts just had a lol 2nd year and he was fuging picked 4rth.  fuging a man do your homework instead of simply googling articles

I'm the one doing homework. You're just yapping.

I'm comparing their receiving #s to our #1 WR. I shouldn't need to explain why a TE averaging anywhere close to your #1 WR is worthy of 1st round selection.

As to your original point of tight ends NEVER hold 1st round value, you can see from the names provided there is usually 1 per draft. I'd argue 1-2. Still makes you wrong.

As someone who played TE in college it is much easier to get open as a TE than it is as a WR.

You shouldn't be comparing TE's to WR's as they are completely different positions. TE's don't get jammed like WR's do on a consistent basis. TE are facing slower LB's. It's so easy for TE's to find a zone in a defense.

It's why the position is becoming more of a threat to a offense. Im glad these guys are getting more attention as they can become huge threats to any offense.

I don't disagree that finding holes in zones may be easier for TEs. Still, how many teams have tight ends as their leading receivers? Looks like just KC and Baltimore.

It's not that many elite TE's in the league to be fair.

I think Pitts is being underutilized in Atlanta.

Dalton Kincaid from Utah is better than Both.

Washington is gonna be an extra OT that maybe catches a first down or TD a couple times a year. Kincaid isn't gonna block. Both are more like a why not take them in the 3rd if they're sitting there kinda guys. I'd go DE or Josh Downs/Jalin Hyatt. There is a decent chance our dumbass Rhule/Mcadoo  combo had no idea how to use Tremble or Ricci, and wasted reps of Thomas/Sullivan for that stupid 4 TE rotation

So what I'm getting here is that :

Getting a Tight-End should be the play with our 2nd Pick?

It’s shaping up to be a very good TE draft but certain teams and peeps don’t value them highly. We’ll see. I guess it will Al depend on our new HC and scheme.

A guy to keep tabs on is Schoonmaker as a late 2nd to 3rd rounder. He’s got skills.

    • lol It's 2 games in with a broken QB it's too early to tell. I hope Canales works out but this is still funny.
    • Man there truly is no helping the stupid that litters this place
    • This backlash has truly been sad and was part of the reason I believe Bryce was drafted in the first place. He was small and looked like a kid and everybody just loved that he was also good at football. Once I heard CJ Stroud talking on his podcast tour this summer, I was like well that is the reason he isn't here. I remember the hatred for Cam that basically arose out of him being a massive, confident, black man. Every time a new broadcast crew met him during warmups the telecast was just about how larger than life he was. I even had a friend who is close to Cam's size talk about him sucking the air out of every room goes into like being big, loud, and confident is a bad thing. And many here along with the media never showed any sympathy, empathy, or a second thought to the shite Cam had to put up with while here. Till this day it is either about the stupid fumble that didn't matter that he didn't jump on, or that he only had like one good year.  So to see this crazy backlash from the sports and social media regarding Canales benching a small, weak, entitled, non verbal QB who is playing terrible, struggling to recognize defenses, missing open WRs, and leaving clean pockets is mind blowing! Only Chase Daniels watched the film before talking this week. Everyone else used it as an opportunity pine for Bryce and crap on organization. Again, I hope someone is dumb enough to give us Josh Rosen compensation for him.
