True, but Gamble has done it before and SUCKED. If Goodson caught it, he could at least get some yards out of it.

Goodson is an awesome RB for a rookie. But he's a Rookie RB trying to make it in a RB core dominated by the NFL's best run tandem.

Not an easy task.

I don't think Goodson riding the pine is any indication of his talent or potential. It's been said, but Goodson's playing behind the best tandem in the league, and in addition to that Tyrell Sutton is playing some good football.

I'm of the opinion we should work him in as a receiver more, though I doubt that's going to happen.

Having this many talented running backs is a good problem to have, especially if/when Stewart or Williams leaves.

I like Sutton better. He gets up field quick, can catch too, and doesn't fumble like Goodson.

Sutton has come on well and has apparently worked his way into RB3/FB2/KR position, supplanting not just Goodson, but Fiametta and Moore.

And every coach likes to have one player like that, at least. We haven't had one since Nick Goings.

I still say his best use is a WR/RB hybrid.
