If you want to get the #1 pick from the Bears, what's your move?

its going to take 3 firsts at minimum to go from 9 to 1.

we're talking the bears...Fittmagik...

and any trade with the Bears turns out to be well worth it in the long run so if its for a franchise QB...wait...Trey Lance popped up...let's just see how things go after the combine

I've been giving this some thought, and it's hard to see the Panthers going any other route this year than marrying a new HC with a new QB. If you have a guy that you love like Bryce Young, you have the capital to do it, so you make it happen. I have no idea what trade value would look like, but the Panthers have assets that would be a great fit for Chicago like Brian Burns and/or DJ Moore. I'm in the camp that likes Burns and would hate to lose him, but you have to believe he would be in play and is probably valued at around 2 first rounders+, himself.

I think Burns + our first rounder this year (#9) and the 49ers 2nd rounder would be in-play. I could be way off when it comes to value, but I think the Panthers can get that pick without sacrificing the future.

If you were the Panthers and coveted the #1 overall pick, what would be your move to get it from the Bears?

Lol...a year early. Keep what we got or trade back for more picks.

Trade Burns or Moore and 1.9 to land at 1.3, 1.4 or 1.5.  If Young and Stroud are gone, some great talent will be available at those three draft spots.  Not only will we get a great young player on a rookie contract, we’ll offload an expensive (Moore) or soon to be very expensive (Burns) contract.  Addition by subtraction.

Pray the Bears get Hargraves and Payne in free agency to fix their dline and hope one major offensive lineman hits the market they can go after. If that’s the case they’d likely be willing to drop to 9 for 2 firsts, 2 seconds and a third. Or factor in a player.

At most we would need to get the 3rd pick. Man this poo is legitimately Groundhog Day. I knew these fugs would be picking 8-10 again. Haha.

Yeah.  "Haha", it's funny.

I guess when you go through the same sh*t year after year, all you *can* do is just laugh.  sigh....

Yep proven he takes plays off and doesn’t really elevate his QBs

Teddy had his best play here. Darnold had his best play here. Mayfield was the only one who didn't. DJ has put up good stats despite trash at QB. It baffles me how much of this fanbase doesn't comprehend this.
