According to the official site, Steichen already has been interviewed.  Maybe it was a remote interview and not in person.  They only added names interviewed, not speculated.  Payton's just got added today.

Steichen had a virtual interview on Sat, 1/14. Assuming we schedule second round interviews with finalists, he can't be interviewed until next Monday, 1/30 following the conclusion of the conference championship games.

Think the Panthers definitely have a comparable, if not better, roster than the Giants do.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and give David Tepper some kudos for what appears to be the Panthers doing their due diligence on this coaching search.

Might be totally misreading the tea leaves here, but this search seems to be more deliberate and thorough than David Tepper's first attempt w/Rhule.

Honestly yeah its pretty comparable to the rosters those coaches stepped into last year.  Ours would be significantly more appealing than what Daboll walked into with the Giants.
