There is no way to know this early. Jimmy G and Derek Carr will land somewhere. Geno Smith will be available if the Seahawks don’t resign him and if they do they might wait a year on drafting one. There is a lot of offseason left between now and April.

If you have a potential franchise QB in the draft (top 5 pick), you don't go out and sign a journeymen QBs before the draft.

as a panther fan since day 1 I have to say the offseason has been the most exciting thing about this franchise for a while. Now I get to dig into the draft and the coaching search instead of watching 40 yards passing through 9/10 of a meaningless game

No way we should trade up.  Draft BPA at #9, resign Darnold to compete with Corral, and improve the DL, Secondary and WR group with the rest.

"compete", my ass.

If it was up to me, I'd be getting Corral ready to start Next season with Sam backing him up....and with AR as our Draft pick QB as the 3rd string.

Not every team will view this class’s QBs as high as others. Some teams will love Levis, some will love AR and some may not be high on any of the top options. That’s why so many mocks are wrong every year.

Reaching for a QB in the draft is the absolute worst thing this team could do. If our guy isn't available with #9, then get the DE, LB, WR or TE that will start for the next 5+ seasons. That's a win in my book. Take a chance with a 2nd or 3rd if you want, but be sure with the 1st and the HC. Everything else will work out.

    • It's not good to leave any netminder having a bad night out there, not fair to them, not fair to the skaters still trying to win the game It's classless and shows a lack of respect, for them has a player and a human being, you aren't gaining anything, you aren't learning anything , except they just don't have it that night. I don't care if it's a multiple Vezina Winner, or a 3rd string back up, don't leave them out there to shame themselves and the rest of the team  What if Lavi left Cam in when he didn't have it, and Rod had to skate knowing he essentially has an open net at his end of the ice, would he enjoy that ?
    • If they draft Stewart at 8th, I will ask @Mr. Scot for a list of GMs and might as well ask for HC too.....
    • I can't for the life of me figure out what people are seeing in Stewart on tape. If he can't just simply run around or through the OL in front of him, he's cooked. I don't see any actual moves. If he doesn't win on sheet athleticism at the point of contact he's nullified. I don't know if I've ever seen him actually beat a block once engaged. Then, even if he just blasts right past or through the OL and has a clean path to the ball it's like he's blind. He can't find the ball. He's like a bottle rocket. Yeah, he takes off fast but he's just going to go fast in a general direction. There will be no course correction. I watched quite a bit on him just because of his perceived draft evaluation and because of the wild discrepancy between measurables and production. Watch him play and it all makes since. He's a god tier physical specimen who just happens to be playing football. I don't see a football player. People need to stop falling in love with the potential and start realizing why the potential isn't translating.
