The letdown is disappointing but it's good for the future

It's all about the future. The present is irrelevant. Welcome to Panthers fandom. It's pretty much the same as Jets fandom. We'll get 'em next year... or next decade... maybe.

I didn't want to pie this but you know more about Panthers fandom than I so you would know.   sigh.....

Might as well pull up a chair and get comfortable.

It's going to be awhile, isn't it?

It wasn't always like this. Basically just since Tepper. Under Richardson we were never consistent but we were kind of an every other year or every third year type team. We had enough sporadic success to maintain a sense of hope.

I wonder if Steve Cohen is interested in owning an NFL Franchise.....

    • They reached for Pickett, so they are not immune to it.  I could see that as well.  I just think the Colts are flying under the radar and they have been too quiet concerning their QB situation--of course, they could think Jones is their guy (they had a good one named Jones a long time ago) but I think they are done with the Richardson experiment.   Even if I believed in Jones, I would still draft a QB--I also read one mock that said the Jets would take Sanders if he falls to 7---I disagree, but I was once wrong and it still bothers me.
    • I just switched to prime video with fanduel south. Will I be able to watch the Canes playoff games still?
    • I mean, you can use that "logic," but the problem is that most practice squad players, backups or average guys don't put the play on film that Wharton did when given their opportunities.  Perhaps you'll end up right, but I don't think that just because a guy has been in a rotation makes him inherently less productive because he gets more snaps. I will say that the KC fans I've seen on social media loved him, and considered him their second best DT,  regardless of his "rotational" status, and generally considered him a dawg, so I'm going to give him the benefit of doubt until he shows otherwise.
