Didn’t want to create another thread for this but we might have another good goalie in the pipeline.

Our young German goalie, Nikita Quapp, stopped 42 of 43 shots against Team Sweden today in a 1-0 loss at World Juniors. Sweden won their first game by a score of 11-0 against Austria.

Quapp was getting MVP chants from the Canadian crowd.

A few other Canes prospects have made their mark in World Juniors as well. Jackson Blake picked up an assist for Team USA last night and Ville Koivunen picked up an assist today for Team Finland.
