you have to consider the "Panther way."  We will lose to the Bucs and then blow out the Saints on the last game of the season in a meaningless contest (since Moore took his helmet off).

If we lose to a decimated Bucs team with how our Running game has gone, then we don't deserve to be in the playoffs.

Julio Jones

Julio Jones (knee) is questionable for Tampa Bay's Week 17 game against Carolina.

As usual. Jones does tend to play when he practices and he practiced all three days this week, so we'd call him on the optimistic side of questionable. He remains a bad fantasy play as he has not scored since Week 10 and hasn't gone over 53 yards since Week 1. Jones' major fantasy gravity at the moment is cutting snaps for Russell Gage.

Buccaneers LT Donovan Smith (foot) is questionable for Week 17 against the Panthers.

Smith got in three limited practices and should be regarded as likely to play. He missed last week's game with this listing, and Josh Wells dislocated his kneecap leading to fringe NFL tackle play for the Bucs. Smith has not had a good season, but he should be an upgrade for that as Tampa looks to keep Carolina's defense off Tom Brady

Buccaneers DT Vita Vea (calf) is questionable for Week 17's game against Carolina.

Vea has sat each of the last two weeks, but practiced on a limited basis all three times leading up to this game and should be regarded as on the optimistic side of questionable. It's perfect timing for Tampa in what profiles as a must-win game, as Carolina's rushing attack needs to be shut down and Vea is one of the few humans on this planet who can single-handedly boost a run defense.

They will actually be quite healthy

Carlton Davis will be out however could be big for DJ Moore

Your point?

The Bucs are still not 100%.

And they still won't stop the Run this Sunday.

I am gonna go Steelers type game. We just can't get the run established and Brady is able to get a little traction against our thing secondary.

Yeah unfortunately I think this and the refs will push Brady to another playoff appearance

Stat to know: The Buccaneers are 0-7 this season when allowing 20 or more points and are 7-1 when holding opponents under 20 points.

I see the Panthers scoring 21 in the 1st half and dominating TOP.

I hope you're right. With this team either everything clicks or nothing clicks. The times it doesn't is when you have every reason to think it should. When you think things won't work, we go beast mode.

We already don't deserve to be in the playoffs.  We did run well against them in the W before.  I do not see that changing.

    • We could easily pick apart yesterday’s game: dropped passes, blown coverages, bad tackling and red zone issues to name a few. But it was clear that this wasn’t the same team from earlier in the season. They fought back and hung with the champs until the end. That’s what I was excited to see and it gives me hope that we’re on the right track.
    • I think BY played well today and exceeded expectations. I will temper future expectations as he has to string together many games of consistent quality. One game doesn’t convince me that he is a franchise QB or even a guy you want to stick with for another season. One game doesn’t erase all the negative play and limitations from the past couple of years. I hope he balls out and continues to get better but for me the verdict is still out   That said, I think he gave the team and fans hope yesterday which is a lot more than what we had when we woke up Sunday morning.
    • He was vastly improved today and we need to see more of Bryce the rest of the season to continue evaluate him in order to decide what the heck to do with him at the end of the season. He must play at least like this and improve more from here the rest of the season in order for me to keep him. No more 123 yard passing games and want to see at least this output weekly from him. If this is Bruce improving slowly over time then Canales is even better with developing QB's than I thought he was but still too early to tell and we need to see him the rest of the way as he has at very least earned back the starting gig moving forward.
