  1. 1. How fast will the Huddle turn on Josh Norman?

    • Before the first game
    • First play
    • First pass allowed
    • First TD allowed
    • First game
    • Second game
    • Won't happen, he leads us to the SB and signs a lifetime contract! WOOOOOOOOO

I broke up with gettlegut over his petty handling with norman. Bare min, let him play out on the tag, if and when he doesnt report handle that. It also ruined 90% of that draft and ruined the teams chances at back2back wins. gettlegut was just a different type of herniany bad....dam shame

Nippleshorts was bad, but JNo did himself no favors in that situation. Bringing an amateur, and that's generous, to the negotiation for the biggest contract in your life was a massive mistake. It was ego vs incompetence and the loser was the fan base.

I think it was the other way around iirc, Gettleman was irked with Josh's agent, rescinded the tag, and then Josh replaced his agent.

That maybe it, @Mr. Scot do you member the details of this??

I think you are right-both sides were upset at each other. Dave "leaked" about having a family friend as acting agent.....then something happen and jno got new agents/reps.....(im guessing)then had a meeting and before jno closed the truck door, dave pulled the tag like a uber asss......

it may have happened after, I still think it was during, but it still didnt workout with daves "i dont pay CBs" mindset...

If I remember correctly, JNo hired a relative who had negotiated a few minor contracts to negotiate this one. Gman was trying to contact him and was getting no response then the response he did get was amateur hour. Negotiations broke down, gettleman rescinded the tag, Norman asked to come back to the table but it was done, Norman hired a new agent keeping his old one as a co-counsel, he got a massive new contract, and we got fugged.

    • The other draft picks have turned out pretty well. Brooks will too.
    • I'm still not touching Hunter He again said the other day that he plans on playing both sides of the ball in the NFL.  If he is allowed to do that, he won't be as good on either side as his potential and he's going to have serious injury issues and have a short career.  If he's not allowed to do it, I think he's going to become a problem when the team isn't winning as he's going to feel him not being used on both sides of the ball is why. He's being coddled in that environment with Deion and I think it's doing a disservice to him to prepare him for life in the NFL where your coach isn't a 2nd father to you, to where you can just walk into his locker room and steal his shoes like Hunter does to Deion.
    • He’s a tad behind them. Around 15ish of 32 starters in the league. He’s well ahead of a lot of guys. Tua, Bryce, Cousins (present), Rodgers (current), Devito/Jones, Minshew, Russ (current), Watson, Smith, Carr, T Laws deep ball is weak as poo IMO, there’s plenty. And it’s not like everyone is ripping 60+ers. The key component is if you can rip and maintain velocity of the 30-40 yarders which he does super well. Legit every report out there from Brugler to PFF to PFN document him as good/above average arm strength.  Eye test tells me it’s pretty much that as well, slightly above average.
