Since coming back:

60%+, 850 yards, 4 passing TDs, 2 rushing TDs, 0 turnovers

Highly respectable.  Would prefer him over most league backups.

Extrapolating to an entire season where he doesn't have a single bad game.

3600 passing yards, 17 touchdowns, 8 rushing touchdowns, 4 fumbles.

So, basically Teddy Bridgewater at his peak.

It does enough to help, but it aint gonna help that much if you really want to compete for a championship. Qb has to elevate play at some point.

A) This team can't compete for a championship

2) Sam does what McAdoo tells him to do

D) When the Lions let you run for THAT much, you don't need to elevate anything

He's a better passer than a lot of guys that's for damn sure.

Are you arguing that he doesn't have an elite arm?

Are you even reading your own posts? When we traded for him the first way I was able to cope with such a baffling move was to recognize his arm talent. Unfortunately I watched the game film of him when the chips were down and he had to score points from behind. He did nothing to change that in 2021. That's the question mark. Nothing in that regard has been answered. Even Baker Mayfield had a what some called miraculous game winning drive with the Rams barely a week after signing with them and then the next game he went right back to looking like he did here ie 🗑. It's called sample size. If folks like yourself haven't learned after Kyle Allen and the 3-0 start last season you never will.

Nicley done. Out of curiosity what is his yards per completion in that ?
