I think he'll be fine.  Like someone said, these aren't soft tissue injuries.  A broken foot and a broken wrist could happen to anyone.  Just unfortunate he's suffered these injuries two years in a row.

Could happen to anyone but isn't. It's happening to him and he could very well go on to only miss one or two games for the next 5-6 seasons but the odds of that are not too good.

CJ - Taylor - Carrie will get torched. If they are serious about the playoffs, I wonder if there's any FA with familiarity in Wilks's system with a guy like Cockrell or maybe a vet from the area like Breeland.

What?  Plenty of players get hurt for one or two seasons.  Cooper Kupp, for example.

There is a difference between sarcasm:

”I think his career is over after a broken wrist”

And making up an outright lie:

”Reed is reporting Jaycee is done for 2022 and all of 2023.”

Actually with Juan the over the top nature of the lie is part of the sarcasm. Almost no athlete sustaining any sports injury has ever been ruled out for all of the next season on the spot that I ever recall. That was the clue that Juan put in there.  However, I can see that not everyone can be expected to know Juan and his style or catch the subtle hint, so yeah, he should probably avoid stuff like that.
