I’m ok with it.

He’ll be on a tight leash, as he should. Fans will boo him, call him names, etc. He’s earned that with his actions. Hopefully, he’s been working on self improvement, and making things right with his family.

Agreed. It’s okay to be upset with his actions. Any man should. But give him the opportunity to redeem himself.

Not a good look.. But reality is he was going to get a 2nd chance somewhere and the only loser (basketball wise of course) was going to be the Hornets..
And the sad part on this is society wise ppl will be mad at 1st but if he does all the community work and the team starts winning again ppl will move on..

Not all men do. Redeem is an interesting word.  What does it mean to redeem?  If by redeem you mean maybe he has a chance to make amends to his family, maybe. Maybe his kids won't hate him their whole lives.  Maybe redemption for Bridges is to get a normal job and try to make it right with his children by being there.  There is no redemption for him if he abandons his children by chasing a bag.   Redeem may mean forgiveness, but it doesn't entitle you to a once in a million job.  He has plenty of money, professionally anyone of us would have been let go and not rehired.  Redemption in Bridges case shouldn't mean everything is restored just fine and here is a multi million dollar contract.
