seems to me unless you find the best quarterback of all time (Brady), who comes once in a lifetime, you need a high pick.

How many of those QBs are actually any good?  Half of them maybe? What works for one team doesn’t necessarily work for another.

I wouldn’t want any of those QBs as my long term franchise QBs. A lot of those teams are winning in spite of the QB

I hate this point trying to be pushed all the time.  Every great qb ever was available with the first pick.   As you go further in the draft less and less great qbs were available.  Having more options earlier is always going to be better.  Can a team pick the wrong player?   Of course,  but the earlier you pick the better odds the right pick was available.

Hard to speculate what’s possible til the season is done!! Draft positions?? Who’s the coach!!!  It’s a total crap shoot!! I am on board of CJ Stroud or Young if they are there for us!! I don’t know much about Levi’s  from Kentucky.. seems like a lot of red flags!!  I am thinking BPA.. roll with Darnold, Corral and bring in Minshew if he’s willing!!

Yeah the NFC kind of blows this year. It’s why we are 5-9 and still in the playoff hunt…. Maybe teams like the Saints, Panthers, Falcons, Commanders, Giants, and probably the Seahawks need to draft a QB early in the next year or so. Bucs will need to also when Brady retires.

What’s important is their timing.. Sure, long term, good/great are thing you look for. But timing & situation are key.. 

Sure them long term goals are admirable, I want them too. But them guys listed got a ring I want my team to have. I’d be happy with a 1-year blunder SuperbOwl run. Be happier with a long term but 1 would appease for a long while…

Lol, what a paper-thin argument. The reality is that this team already fuged up its chances at a franchise QB in next year’s draft for a few “feel good” wins. Whatever makes you feel better I guess.
