Don't get hung up on measurables and watch him play. Young can make all the throws, can run, is a magician in the backfield, and has proven he can take a hit. He's the best QB in this draft by miles.

None of future NFL linemen in the SEC that he played against the last 3 years did. He missed one game during that time due to injury despite being "small".

We are up to 8th now. Our needs are qb, te, wr, edge, lb. I hope we don't reach and, instead, take the best available at need position.  Tyree Wilson Texas Tech Edge, Quentin Johnson TCU WR, Will Levis UK QB, Myles Murphy Clemson Edge, Michael Mayer Notre Dame TE are all right around there. I am not impressed with Levis or Anthony Richardson at qb so i would look for Hendon Hooker UT QB in round two.  If Bryce Young or Stroud are available, take them. If not, Edge or WR is fine. That is my two cents.  If we take this strategy, we could also move back for someone that wants Levis or Richardson.

Side note according to tankathon we have pick 8 because our SOS is now tied with Atlanta. Weird because it was so much lower early on that I thought it wouldn’t catch up.

Atlanta plays Arizona still. So if we lose out we’ll move back up a spot regardless
