People said the sand about Tua, Burrow, Herbert and Allen yet only the bad examples are brought up. Heck Lawrence and Fields were trash in here last year. You won’t really know until they get here and honestly coaching has a big impact as well.

I hope we aren’t like them picking the wrong guys when there were better guys available.

I don't remember anyone ever saying Burrow was trash. One-year wonder, yes, but not trash.  Tua's concern was medical for most people.  Herbert was a wildcard. I admit I wasn't one of his biggest fans.  Nobody doubted Lawrence, c'mon man...he was the unquestioned #1.  Allen was an older draft, but even he took some time to get traction and that was with a stable franchise and a competent staff.  Fields isn't trash, BUT I still question how good of a pro he will become.  My guess is ultimately middling.

Most of them have struggled in since being in the League, but that's the problem.  Even "sure things" take time to develop from college to the pros.  Herbert has had the most success the quickest and he was probably the least hyped of the guys you mentioned.

I mean we might as well win the division. That would be just typical for this year.

To win the division we very likely will have to beat Tampa in Tampa.

If we do that, it will be the end of Tom Brady in the same game.

I have trouble seeing the refs letting that happen.

We just cost ourselves 4 today. To be honest picking 10th and 20th isn't really much different. So playoffs is really the only success we can reach now.

The Panthers are on the verge of establishing a winning culture. With Sam Darnald, and a coaching staff that is still learning to work together.

We may not be world beaters yet, but man, with some luck this team will just continue to get better.

Winning begets winning and losing begets losing. Right now, we are trending towards winning. I can live with that.

It's not a crime to want your team to get better, but the tank is off, just win Panthers!!!!!

It's weird how everyone looks better without the clown running everything, Darnold looks like an NFL starting QB, and I have already forgotten #22

I mean this wasn't prime time Russell Wilson Seattle, it was Geno Smith, but screw it, I am hyped again

Darnold attempted six passes today 5+ yards beyond the LOS. We have basically all but eliminated the forward pass from the playbook.

TBF, a lot of teams run that play now. We ran for over 200 yards. Sam added 120. And we had the ball for over 40 minutes. That right there is Playoff Football.

Edit to add; Now I'm not saying we will make the Playoffs. I'm just saying that that is the style of play we are seeing.

Still would have rather tanked than what we're doing, even though winning today was cool. Darnold and PJ still aren't the answers. I'd like to see Corral have a legit shot but he's a total unknown. Also don't like that this might earn Wilks the full-time job because I still think we'd be better off with a coach experienced in the offensive side.
